In 1979, Vienne was born in the Nong Khai Refugee Camp in Thailand to Laotian parents. Five months later, her family was sponsored by the Stirling Vietnamese Aid Organization that helped them resettle in Stirling, Alberta for their first year in Canada.Permission was given by Mariah Besplug to host and provide access to this collection.
