Storytelling como estrategia formativa para el fomento de la lectura en Estudiantes de educación básica

The objective is to determine the effectiveness of Storytelling applied in the school year 2021-2022 as a formative strategy for the promotion of reading in students of higher basic general education of the Manta Fiscal Educational Unit. Of Pearson's descriptive correlational type. The correlation 0.131 indicates that Storytelling has had a positive impact on students' reading; however, since there is no significance in the relationship, it is necessary to continue applying Storytelling, adjusting its didactic application until reaching an inferential level of reading by students, being this part of the critical and reflective thinker as lifelong learning. The students stated that, the topics taught by the teacher are achieved learning and are almost always understood; inasmuch as storytelling facilitates employing communication between teacher and students.Se tiene por objetivo determinar la eficacia del Storytelling aplicada en el año lectivo 2021-2022 como estrategia formativa para el fomento de la lectura en estudiantes de educación general básica superior de la Unidad Educativa Fiscal Manta. De tipo descriptiva correlacional de Pearson. Al existir una correlación 0,131 se indica que el Storytelling ha incidido positivamente en la lectura de los estudiantes, sin embargo, al no existir significancia en la relación, se indica que es necesario seguir aplicando el Storytelling, ajustar su aplicación didáctica hasta alcanzar un nivel inferencial de lectura por parte de los estudiantes, siendo este parte del pensador crítico y reflexivo como aprendizaje a lo largo de la vida. Los estudiantes manifestaron que, los temas impartidos por parte del docente se logran aprender y casi siempre son comprendidos; por cuanto contar historias facilita el emplear la comunicación entre el docente y estudiantes
