El objetivo del presente trabajo es ayudar a los docentes de idiomas a elegir de manera eficaz películas para ser utilizadas en su proceso de enseñanza. Para ello serealizó una investigación acerca de la relevancia del cine en la enseñanza de idiomas, con particular énfasis en el aspecto cultural; seguidamente se elaboraron los criterios que deberían guiar la elección de la película. Se trabajó concretamente con textos y materiales relativos al idioma italiano; sin embargo, se procuró que los lineamientos pudiesen ser aplicados a cualquier otro idioma.
