This contribution aims at arguing the validity of autobiography as a tool of inclusion and for inclusion. Indeed, thanks to its individual and universal properties and potentials, autobiography is accessible to everyone, enjoyable by everybody. Starting from an in-depth investigation on the paternal profile, on post-modern family innovation and the related socio-cultural impacts, an intertwined decoding of three autobiographical works begins. The analysis is conducted as three fathers’ formation paths, in relation to the existence of their children and the situation of disability that they all experience.
