The objective of this study was to carry out the agroclimatic zoning of cassava for the State of Mato Grosso do Sul (MS), Brazil. Information on the climatic needs of cassava was analyzed, establishing classes of capacity for crop development. Data corresponding to 30 years (1988-2018) were obtained through the National Aeronautics and Space Administration / Prediction of Worldwide Energy Resources - NASA / POWER platform, referring to air temperature (T) and annual precipitation (P). With the combination of the two variables, agroclimatic zoning was defined. Apt areas were considered when T was between 20 and 27 ºC and P between 1,000 and 1,500 mm.
