Novos olhares e diferentes abordagens sobre a história indígena

The main theme of this paper is the work developed by indigenous researchers from Mato Grosso do Sul, inserted in different graduate programs of Brazilian universities. This is an early stage research that is under development, with the objective of identifying and analyzing the academic productions carried out by indigenous researchers from Mato Grosso do Sul. From this perspective, cultural studies were selected as a theoretical field to understand the different actions developed by indigenous peoples marked by difference and alterity, thus enabling the deconstruction of colonial discourses that make indigenous peoples the target of stereotypes, as if there were, in fact, societies with superior knowledge. Therefore, the information presented here is of an initial nature, whose main objective is to share knowledge on the topic.  O presente artigo tem como tema central os trabalhos desenvolvidos pelos pesquisadores indígenas de Mato Grosso do Sul, inseridos nos diferentes programas de pós-graduação das universidades brasileiras. Trata-se de uma pesquisa em fase inicial que está em desenvolvimento, tendo por objetivo identificar e analisar as produções acadêmicas realizadas pelos pesquisadores indígenas de Mato Grosso do Sul. Nessa perspectiva, foram selecionados os estudos culturais como campo teórico para compreender as diferentes ações desenvolvidas pelos povos indígenas marcados pela diferença e alteridade, possibilitando, assim, a desconstrução de discursos coloniais que inferiorizam os povos indígenas alvos de estereótipos como se houvesse, de fato, sociedades com saberes superiores. Portanto, as informações ora apresentadas são de caráter inicial, cujo principal objetivo é o de compartilhar os conhecimentos sobre o tema
