EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA NO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL 2: PESQUISA EM ESCOLAS DE DOURADOS-MS

Physical Education (PE) is a discipline whose main focus is the knowledge and experience of the various manifestations of body culture of movement. In this sense, the body practice studied in the discipline can assist in engaging in physical activities as a healthy lifestyle habit. This study aimed to evaluate the participation and perception of Elementary School II students about Physical Education classes. This study is of a descriptive qualitative nature, 375 students participated in this research, 85 students belonging to the 9th year divided between three schools and 290 students belonging to the 7th year divided between five schools, all from the public school in the region of Dourados- MS. A questionnaire containing 14 questions was applied, adapted from the study by Darido (2004). The data show that the students surveyed like the PE discipline, but consider it to be of little importance when compared to the others. The analyzed group frequently participates in the classes, they consider them cool and lively, however it is noticed that the teachers have not presented a variety of body culture contents, still limiting the contents of PE to Sport. We conclude that elementary school students from the city of Dourados who participated in the research have a positive opinion about the discipline and participate in the classes, however, it is noted that this sympathy has to do with the irrelevance that the contents and the discipline represent, that is, they like Discipline because it is not demanding, becoming a moment of relaxation and leisure at school. This context brings an alert about the importance of discipline at school, highlighting the fact that it is a vehicle for promoting the future health of young people and adults.A Educação Física (EF) é uma disciplina que tem como foco principal o conhecimento e a vivência das diversas manifestações da cultura corporal de movimento. Neste sentido, a prática corporal estudada na disciplina pode auxiliar no engajamento em atividades físicas como hábito de vida saudável. Este estudo objetivou avaliar a participação e a percepção dos alunos do Ensino Fundamental II sobre as aulas de Educação Física. Este estudo é de natureza qualitativa do tipo descritiva, participaram desta pesquisa 375 alunos, sendo 85 alunos pertencentes ao 9°ano divididos entre três escolas e 290 alunos pertencentes ao 7°ano divididos entre cinco escolas, todas da rede pública da região de Dourados-MS. Aplicou-se um questionário contendo 14 questões, adaptado do estudo de Darido (2004). Os dados evidenciam que os alunos pesquisados gostam da disciplina de EF, porém a consideram pouco importante quando comparada com as demais. O grupo analisado participa com frequência das aulas, as consideram legais e animadas, no entanto percebe-se que os professores não têm apresentado uma variedade de conteúdos da cultura corporal, limitando ainda os conteúdos da EF ao Esporte. Concluímos que os alunos de Ensino Fundamental II da cidade de Dourados que participaram da pesquisa tem uma opinião positiva sobre a disciplina e participam das aulas, porém, nota-se que essa simpatia tem a ver com a irrelevância que os conteúdos e a disciplina representam, ou seja, eles gostam da Disciplina por ela não ser exigente, se tornando um momento de descontração e lazer na escola. Este contexto traz um alerta sobre a importância da disciplina na escola, destacando o fato da mesma ser um veículo para a promoção da saúde futura de jovens e adultos
