Springfield College, WNEC, and AIC Unite in Protest of the Vietnam War

This photograph was taken on May 6, 1970, and shows three male students sitting in front of a blackboard stating, "Springfield – WNEC –AIC Unite Strike!" Below the words is a picture of the Black Power fist with the word "Strike" at the bottom. Based on the back of the photograph (see page 2 for confirmation), the students are identified (from left to right) to be Mark O'Brien from American International College, Roy Trauber from Western New England College (now Western New England University), and Ira C. Colby from Springfield College. There is a clipping taped to the back identifying the students and making a statement about the solidarity between the three campuses in protest movements as the three planned activities to protest the Vietnam War on their campuses. Also, on the back, the date was originally stamped "May 5, 1970," but the 5 was scratched out and replaced with the 6th.Handwritten on the back is "Student Demon."; Technician who created metadata for this item decided that the last letter of the photographer's surname was a "R"
