The inclusion of people with disabilities generates many discussions in Brazil, especially in the field of Basic Education. Focusing on the inclusion of visually impaired students, we present in this text how the process of school inclusion in Elementary School takes place in two of the urban schools in the municipality of Confresa-MT. Based on current legislation such as Law 13,146 of July 07, 2015, called LBI (Brazilian Inclusion Law), which guarantees people with disabilities the right to a public education in regular educational institutions, we reflect on the needs and conditions of the inclusion process.
