The integration of technology with pedagogy and content promotes teaching professional development through digital competencies. Staff digital education improves teaching practice by training courses. The TPACK framework, as a technological pedagogical content knowledge, is shown as a reference for a digital education in higher education teaching staff. This article aims to propose a general view of TPACK framework from its beginning until today, and its incidence in the diagnosis and analysis of ICT integrated in teaching practice based on technological, pedagogical and content knowledge.
