The purpose of this investigation was to study certain characteristics of Bellaire junior and senior students designated as achievers and underachievers within the Otis Intelligence Score range of 110-125. Selection of the members of the groups was limited to those pupils whose scholastic ranks were within the class level of 5.0-4.5 or 2.9-2.0. In the light of the findings the intent was to identify the scholastic aptitudes, the vocational preferences, the values, and the temperament traits of the achievers and the underachievers. The intelligence scores and the class level ranks were obtained from the school records.
