Letter from Marie D. Wells to Representative Burdick Regarding Fort Berthold Claims, March 1, 1954

This letter, dated March 1, 1954, from Marie D. Wells of Elbowoods on the Fort Berthold Reservation to United States (US) Representative Usher Burdick concerns the Three Affiliated Tribes of the Fort Berthold Reservation\u27s claims before the Court of Claims. Wells writes that the tribal members want their hearing as soon as possible. The letter has several handwritten notes on it.
