This letter dated June 7, 1951 from Brigadier General C. H. Chorpening, Assistant Chief of Engineers for Civil Works, US Army Corps of Engineers, to United States (US) Senator William Langer acknowledges Langer\u27s May 31 letter to General Lewis A. Pick regarding the re-interment of ancestors on the Fort Berthold Reservation due to inundation by the construction of the Garrison Dam. Chorpening says that he will look into it and write back to Langer. A handwritten note at the top of the letter reads, Fort Berthold.
