Bentuk Penyajian Tari Pasambahan Minang Di Sanggar Sabai Nan Aluih Di Kota Pekanbaru Provinsi Riau

This study aims to determine and analyze how the form of presentation of the Pasambahan Minang dance at Sanggar Sabai Nan Aluih in Pekanbaru City. The theory used in this research is according to Soedarsono about the elements of dance composition. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that the Pasambahan Minang Sanggar Sabah Nan Aluih dance is based on the components of the dance presentation which consists of movements, dance movements are divided into 4 movements named as saruak movements, timpo movements, tusuak movements and sambah movements. The floor pattern in general, the floor design has two basic patterns on the floor, namely straight lines and curved lines, each line giving a different impression. Straight lines give a simple but strong impression, while curved lines give a soft but weak impression. Musical accompaniment is an important element in traditional dance processions. With it, a dance will be rich in beauty, and the message and meaning will be more easily conveyed. Likewise, this Pasambahan Dance Music, West Sumatra, is filled with several musical instruments. The make-up aspect uses makeup on the head called tikuluak as it symbolizes Koto Gadang's clothes such as taram. Then on the earring makeup there is earring talepon, there is also makeup on the head called laca, kaban necklace from Koto Gadang and also bracelets. The fashion aspect is wearing the original clothing or costumes from the area where the dance is located. The Minangkabau Pasambahan dance wears traditional clothes for women, such as tengkuluak, batabue clothes, lambak, salampang, and jewelry accessories such as hamlets, galangs to rings.
