Produced wastewater from oil wells contains both organic and inorganic particles. This water goes through initial treatment and then directly injected into well. The water treatment process is produced using a tool called water treatment which can consists of sand, walnut shell, and activated carbon. Until now, the oil and gas industry has rarely exploited the potential of organic wastes such as bagasse activated carbon. Elemental content of bagasse consists of 37.65% cellulose and 22.09% lignin which can be used as raw materials for activated carbon.
