Perbedaan Motivasi Berprestasi Antara Mahasiswa Suku Melayu Dan Suku Minang Dikota Pekanbaru

The desire of individuals to be superior, can achieve a standard and can achieve a success it requires high achievement motivation in individuals. The high level of individual motivation is certainly influenced by various factors, one of which is cultural factors such as ethnic groups. Each ethnic group has its own individual character and character so that this can affect the achievement motivation of individuals. This study aims to determine the differences in achievement motivation between Malay and Minang tribes among students. The subjects of this study were 100 students of the Faculty of Psychology at Sultan Syarif Kasim University (UIN Suska) Riau using simple random sampling technique.
