This research is classified as observaticmal research by survey, while its nature is descriptive. The data used are primary data and secondary data. From the results of the study note that the provisions regarding the rights and obligations of the parties in the implementation of renting a car on Rizky7 Oto Rent Car in Pekanbaru City are the rights and obligations of the party renting the car is like its rights namely: receive rent, receive collateral, be entitled to compensation if losses caused by intentional / negligent factors, the right to ask for vehicle delivery if there is damage / loss to the vehicle, while the obligations such as: surrender the car to the tenant in good condition and responsible for hidden defects. Then the rights for the car tenant such as: accepting the car in accordance with the agreement, the right to receive payment / exchange if the condition of the object does not match what has been promised, the right to claim compensation, while the obligations for the tenant such as: paying the rental price, the tenant bears all losses, fulfill all operational needs of the car, must submit the car in accordance with the agreed time. And the settlement of disputes against breach of contract by tenants in the implementation of renting a car at Rizky Oto Rent Car in Pekanbaru City is done by deliberation by contacting the tenant and resolving the problem together well, if Rizky Oto Rent Car does not take action / demand compensation due to use does not deviate from what has been promised and does not result in losses, but if the use of deviant results in losses for the Rizky Oto Rent Car, the party renting will demand compensation or damage done by the lessee and in Rizky Oto Rent Car rarely done settlement to court line
