The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of Strength and Explosive Power of leg muscles to the Sprint 100 meter Sprint Student of Semester 3 Students of Penjaskesrek, Islamic University of Riau. This type of research is correlational consisting of three variables, namely variable X1 (leg muscle strength), variable X2 (Explosive Power of leg muscle) and Y variable (Sprint Sprint 100 meters). The population in this study was students of semester 3 of Penjaskesrek, Riau Islamic University, totaling 20 people using total sampling techniques so that the sample numbered 20 people.
