Kajian Pengelolaan Sampah Dan Sanitasi Permukiman Di Bantaran Sungai Siak Kelurahan Kampung Bandar Kota Pekanbaru

One of the fundamental problems with settlements along the river banks is the poor waste management and sanitation system. Siak river in the city of Pekanbaru has the potential to experience environmental pollution if it is not managed properly and correctly, seen from the many establishments of dwellings on the banks of the Siak river along the village of bandar village. The purpose of this study is the preparation of strategies and directions for planning waste management and sanitation case studies on the banks of the Siak river Kampung Bandar Kelurahan, Pekanbaru city at a minimum of 15 meters from the riverbed. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis, evaluative analysis and prescriptive analysis. Primary and secondary data collection techniques were obtained through observation and questionnaires. Questionnaire data obtained were then analyzed using inductive statistics with subjects determined in this study there were 2 RWs and 4 RTs with a total of 126 households as a population. The results of research for waste management on the banks of the Siak river Kampung Bandar Kelurahan start from the stages of sorting, compartmenting, collecting, transporting, requiring the construction of buildings or the addition of a good garbage bank, waste bin storage, yellow troops, garbage carts as well as a place for composting garbage in TPS. The results of the study for sanitation along the Siak river, Kampung Bandar, grey water and black water waste, direct two alternatives, namely on-site and off-site household wastewater management
