Analisis Dampak Kebakaran Hutan Dan Lahan Terhadap Perubahan Tutupan Lahan Di Kecamatan Kerumutan

This research is motivated by forest and land fires that occur almost every year in Indonesia, especially in Riau Province. This study aims to analyze land cover changes in Kerumutan District and the effect of forest and land fires on deforestation in Kerumutan District, Pelalawan District in the last decade. This study uses time series analysis to determine the types and changes in land cover each year, then statistical tests are carried out to determine the effect of forest and land fires on deforestation. The data used in the form of land cover maps and satellite imagery. Kerumutan District is one of many areas affected by forest and land fires which then undergo changes in land cover and deforestation in the Kerumutan Wildlife Reserve area. Hotspots in Kerumutan Sub-district during the last decade amounted to 1039 with 490 points with a confidence level of >70%. Based on the results of the study, the average deforestation in Kerumutan District is 1.6% per year and has the potential to continue to increase. The results of the analysis show that deforestation occurs in Kerumutan District, but the results of statistical tests do not show a high level of significance. In addition, other changes occur in plantation land cover which continues to increase.
