Analisis Diagenesis Batugamping Berdasarkan Data Geologi Permukaan Dengan Metode Petrografi Pada Formasi Kuantan Di Nagari Air Hangat, Sumatra Barat

The research area is located in the Nagari Airangat area, Sijunjung District, Sijunjung Regency, West Sumatra. The study area is at coordinates 0 ° 35 '41.6436 "- 0 ° 36' 46.3932" South Latitude and 100 ° 54 '58.1724 "- 100 ° 56' 35.3076" East longitude. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of diagenesis that works on limestone in the study area, determine the environmental conditions of limestone diagenesis in the study area, determine the stages and models of diagenesis that work on limestone in the study area. The method used in this study is by petrographic incision. The study area limestone is included in the formation of Kuantan and research results from 9 samples, there are 4 types of mudstone limestone, limestone limestone, packstone limestone and wackestone limestone and have undergone a process of dissolution diagenesis, cementation, neomorphism and compacting which indicate that the limestone of the study area has been in the environment of wackestone limestone and has undergone a process of dissolution diagenesis, cementation, neomorphism and compacting that indicate that the study area limestone has been in the environment. burial, meteoric phreatic, mixing zone and meteoric vadose
