Pengaruh POC Sabut Kelapa Dan Pupuk NPK Organik Terhadap Pertumbuhan Serta Hasil Tanaman Kencur (Kaempferia Galanga L.)

This research has the title "The Influence of Coconut Coir POC and Organic NPK Fertilizer on the Growth and Yield of Kencur Plant (Kaempferia galanga L.)". This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru City for 6 months starting in April-September 2020. The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction and main effects of POC coco coir and Organic NPK on growth and yield of kencur. This study used a completely randomized design consisting of two factors. The first factor is Coconut Coir Liquid Organic Fertilizer (S) which consists of 4 levels of treatment, namely no treatment, 20 ml, 40 ml and 60 ml per plant. The second factor was Organic NPK (N) fertilizer which consisted of 4 levels of treatment, namely no treatment, 5 grams, 10 grams and 15 grams per plant, so that 16 treatment combinations were obtained. The treatment combination was repeated 3 times. Then obtained 48 experimental units. Parameters observed were plant height, number of tillers, number of leaves, total leaf area, rhizome wet weight per plant, rhizome dry weight per plant, biomass, harvest index and rhizome moisture content. The data were analyzed statistically and followed by BNJ at 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of coconut coir POC and Organic NPK significantly affected all observation parameters, except for the harvest index and rhizome moisture content. The best treatment was POC coir 60 ml and Organic NPK fertilizer 15 g/plant (S3N3). Produced plant height of 14.25 cm, number of tillers 10.83 tillers, number of leaves 19.67 strands, total leaf area of ​​1088.45 cm2, rhizome wet weight 26.81 g, rhizome dry weight 3.45 g and biomass 15.39 g
