Improving the quality of education cannot be separated from the ability of teachers to teach Of course this needs to be done coaching in order to improve teaching skills and discipline. Pekanbaru City Education Office in the Guidance of Kindergarten Educators includes the application of learning materials and activities, as well as curriculum implementation so that the achievement of educational activities can take place well. The purpose of this study was to determine the role and inhibiting factors of the Pekanbaru City Education Office in the Guidance and Training of Kindergarten Educators in Tenayan Raya District. The research method used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Discussion on the implementation of the role of the Pekanbaru City Education Office in the Guidance of Kindergarten Educators has not been carried out optimally due to the lack of employees in conducting coaching and the ability of employees who do not understand the form of coaching related to learning and teaching based on the curriculum. In conclusion, the implementation of coaching for kindergarten teachers has been carried out but has not been carried out optimally so that there are still teachers who have not participated in coaching activities. However, the authors suggest increasing the number of employees in conducting coaching activities, increasing employee knowledge in coaching activities and increasing employee collaboration with teaching staff in improving the quality of education
