Fungsi Kantor Imigrasi Kelas II Bengkalis Dalam Pengawasan Orang Asing Di Kabupaten Bengkalis

The presence of Foreigners in Indonesia, in addition to have a positive effect, they also have a negative effect, for instance it causes the flow of illegal immigrants, human smuggling, trafficking of children and women by having the international dimension and increasing the international syndicate. In this case, Immigration Office at Class II of Bengkalis has the control function of the foreigners who enter the legal authority area of Bengkalis Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the Immigration Office functions at Class II of Bengkalis in the Control of Foreigners in Bengkalis Regency. To find out the purpose of the study, then it was used the operational concept of Manullang about the control in which there are indicators of control that is setting the standard of assessment, conducting an evaluation, conducting a corrective action. This study used a qualitative method with descriptive analysis. The results of the study that has been done is that the controlconducted by the Immigration Office at Class II of Bengkalis towards the foreigners have met the indicators of setting the standard of assessment, conducting an evaluation, and conducting a corrective action, however to the indicator of conducting a corrective action has not been fully fulfilled due to the lack of human resources in the Immigration Office at Class II of Bengkalis especially in the field of control as well as the lack of facilities and infrastructures to conduct the control. Efforts to overcome the problems and obstacles is by recruiting new workers that are allowed to work in the field for controlling the foreigners. Besides, provide the facilities and infrastructures to conduct the controls against the islands in Bengkalis Regency that are never connected by the Immigration Office at Class II of Bengkalis
