This study aims to determine the effect of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type of cooperative learning model on mathematics learning outcomes of Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. This type of research is quasi-experimental research (Quasi Experiment Design) with Nonequivalent Conttrol Group Design research design using purposive sampling technique. The study was conducted in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 school year.
