This study aims to determine the effect of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 21 Dumai. This research is a quasi-experimental research (quasi-experimental) with a non-equivalent control group design and the sampling technique used is purposive sampling. In this study, two classes were used, namely class VIIIA as an experimental class with the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model and class VIIIB as a control class with conventional learning.
