The purpose of this study was to determine the Implementation of the Function of the Village Head in the Efforts of Guiding RT / RW in the Perpianan District of Marpoyan Damai District of Pekanbaru City and to know the obstacles in the Implementation of the Function of the Village Head in the Efforts of Guiding the RT / RW in the Perpian Marpoyan Village of the Marpoyan Damai District of Pekanbaru City. The research method used is a quantitative merger with qualitative methods. The results of the study of the implementation of the Village Function in the Efforts of Guiding RT / RW in Perhentian Marpoyan Village, Marpoyan District, Damai City of Pekanbaru through four indicators are in the words "Pretty Good". This is where it is known that the implementation of the Village Function in the Efforts of Guiding RT / RW has not been carried out thoroughly because the Village has not evenly invited the RT / RW to participate in the activities of fostering the achievement of RT / RW Performance, there has not been a broad form and form of coaching activity given by the Village in each month so that the coaching activities are not carried out every month but if there are problems related to the performance of the RT / RW then coaching is done. And the implementation of guidance activities has not been carried out every month so that it has not yet maximized the achievement of RT / RW performance as a whole. However, the writer suggests the head of village to carry out regular coaching activities every month, invites RT / RW for coaching activities, and the head of village increases knowledge about the forms and efforts of coaching activities that will be carried out for RT / RW
