Peran Lurah Dalam Program Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Di Kelurahan Kulim Kecamatan Kulim Kota Pekanbaru

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the village in community empowerment in Kulim Village, Kulim District, Pekanbaru City and its inhibiting factors. The research method used is a qualitative method with data collection, through interviews, observations, and documentation. The result of this research is the role of Kelurahan. In Community Empowerment in Kulim Village, Kulim Subdistrict, Pekanbaru City, this has not been implemented properly, this can be seen, from the problem of less than optimal implementation of community empowerment because there is still a problem of lack of interest from the community who will take part in the empowerment program which is due to the lack of socialization and counseling from the village community to the community. so that people do not know the importance of this empowerment program. The obstacles that occur in the role of Kelurahan in Community Empowerment in Kulim Village, Kulim Subdistrict, Pekanbaru City in program planning are people who do not participate in carrying out these programs. The conclusion of the researcher is that there is still a lack of interest in the community who will take part in the empowerment program which is due to the lack of role of the village government in the community so that people do not know the meaning of the empowerment program. The researcher's suggestion is that the village government is expected to socialize how important empowerment is for the progress of the village community itself
