Motivasi Orang Tua Memasukan Anaknya Ke Pondok Al- Ihsan Boarding School Kubang Jaya Kampar

This research was motivated by the low moral of children from observations that writer conducted several times before doing this research. Based on the observations at Al-Ihsan Boarding School Kubang Jaya Kampar regency, there were some signs found, such as many parents who came to Pekanbaru city just to enroll their children to study in Al-Ihsan Boarding School Kubang Jaya Kampar regency although there were many other schools in their hometown. Therefore, in this study, the low moral of children is assumed to be overcome by the parents‟ motivation. According to Hamzah B. Uno, a child who has been motivated to learn or change something, will try to learn it well and diligently to get good results. In that case, it appears that motivation causes a person to study diligently or change himself to be a better one. It means that the motivation is very influential on the firmness and perseverance of children. The problem formulation of this study is how the Parents‟ Motivation to enroll their children studying in Al-Ihsan Boarding School Kubang Jaya Kampar regency. The purpose of this study is to investigate and understand how parents' motivation to enroll their children studying in Al-Ihsan Boarding School Kubang Jaya Kampar regency was. The type of this research is descriptive research and the data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. Meanwhile, the population of this study was as many as the sample consisting of 60 people. Based on the data processing results of manual calculation by using the formula: P = f / N × 100%, the result obtained was 85.72%. It can be concluded that the parents‟ motivation to enroll their children studying in Al-Ihsan Boarding School Kubang Jaya Kampar regency is "Very Strong"
