Adaptive Learning: Personalized Learning Paths in a Learning Management System

Online education has become a trend in the past few years. However, the effectiveness of online education has sometimes been problematic due to lack of interaction, practical experience, and motivation. Adaptive learning (AL) addresses individual learner\u27s need with a personalized learning path and pace using timely feedback, dynamic resources, and custom activities. AL systems are developed with a specific pedagogical approach or machine learning algorithm, which make it less accessible and less replicable to examine the effectiveness.
