Macedonio Fernández (1874-1952) has been one of the most influential names for writers and thinkers of the 20th century in Argentina. His work is made up of stories, novels, stories, essays, poems and theses that participate, in turn, in currents belonging to the field of literature, as well as philosophy. His poetry, far from being an organic whole, presents deep tensions that produce the confluence of a lucid ontological writing that coexists with resources and forms from fiction.
