Educating for the never again is one of the elements that integrates Human Rights Education, related to the scope of memory pedagogy and considered an important mediation for the affirmation of democracy. In post-authoritarian contexts, such as that of most countries in the Southern Cone, the way to enable the collective right to know this traumatic past marks the difference between the preservation of memory and truth or the option of forgetfulness.
