The works presented offer a new approach to the active noise control within helicopters. The control strategies already implemented were attached to reduce the noise at medium frequencies largely produced by the main transmission box. We propose to use the active control to deal with low frequencies in the cabin. The levels involved in these frequencies ranges are such that a sound control requires special attention in making antinoise sources.We showed that it was appropriate to divide the problem into two parts. A first device is designed to treat the fundamental frequency produced by the main rotor of the gyroplane, and a second device is intended to treat the broadband noise at low frequencies.
