Cloud print services supports photo/document printing, scan to email and smart apps to print/scan. This disclosure provides a solution to detect and correct orientation of images with Deep Learning. Convolutional neural network solves the problem of angle detection of an image in the context of determining the correct orientation. A solution is proposed to automatically detect rotated angle and correct the orientation, namely, portrait, and landscape of document images. The algorithm should be able to detect orientation with high accuracy while handling document images. The accuracy on the current dataset is about 85%
