The present study aimed to compare Omani and Iranian fourth-grade students’ performance in the TIMSS 2015 mathematics test. The TIMSS assessment sampling method was applied for selecting the statistical samples. Furthermore, the rule of gender and parents’ educational level were analyzed to compare boys' and girls’ performance in the TIMSS mathematics based on these factors. The results showed that there was a statistically significant difference between Omani girls’ and boys’ performance in the TIMSS 2015 mathematics assessment. Hence, the Iranian boys’ and girls' t-test results showed that no statistically significant difference was found between Iranian boys’ and girls’ mathematics performance.
