This study aimed to analyze the perceptions of young Brazilians on the relationship with the school, their expectations for the future and school performance. Participated 3,081 young people aged 11 to 24 years, from different regions of Brazil, who answered a questionnaire on risk and protective factors. Data indicated that young people have a positive view of the school and their teachers. These perceptions are distinguished by age and school performance, and the oldest with better performance tend to regard more positive relations with the school.
