Membaca Ulang Pandangan Paulus tentang Arti Penting Gereja Tuhan menurut 1 Korintus 12 Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19

Abstract. The Apostle Paul likens the church to a body made up of many members and Christ as the head. The church is in the world to fulfill God's divine plan. This article intends to explain the importance of the existence of the church during the Covid-19 pandemic, referring to the view of the apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 12. By using the text analysis method and literature review, it is hoped that it can provide an in-depth picture of the church in both the Old and New Testaments, Paul's view about the church specifically in 1 Corinthians 12, and the importance of the existence of the church during the Covid 19 pandemic. It was concluded that the existence of the church as the body of Christ must still have an impact even during the pandemic. The church can be a prayer, a vehicle for mutual edification, a preacher of the good news, and as a vehicle for interdependent life both internally and in the sense of the church as part of a wider community.Abstrak. Rasul Paulus mengibaratkan gereja sebagai tubuh yang terdiri dari banyak anggota dan Kristus yang menjadi kepala. Gereja ada di dunia untuk untuk mengenapi rencana ilahi Allah. Artikel ini bermaksud ingin menjelaskan arti penting keberadaan gereja di masa pendemik Covid 19 merujuk pada pandangan rasul Paulus dalam 1 Korintus 12. Dengan mengunakan metode analisi teks dan kajian literatur diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran yang mendalam tentang gereja baik dalam Perjanjian Lama maupun Perjanjian Baru, pandangan Paulus tentang gerejasecara khusus dalam 1 Korintus 12, dan arti penting keberadaan gereja di masa pendemik Covid 19. Disimpulkan bahwa keberadaan gereja sebagai tubuh Kristus harus tetap berdampak walaupun dimasa pendemik. Gereja dapat menjadi pendoa, sarana untuk saling membangun, pemberita kabar baik, dan sebagai wadah dari kehidupan yang saling bergantung baik secara internal maupun dalam artian gereja sebagai bagian dari komunitas yang lebih luas
