Abstract. Parents have a role in the social emotional development of children. This article intends to describe the study of the Bible regarding the role of parents in the social and emotional development of children. The method used in writing this article is the method of description and literature review. This article discusses the biblical description of children's education, children's social-emotional development, and the role of parents in children's social-emotional development. It was concluded that the role of parents in the social emotional development of children, among others, showed affection for children, teach children, introduce children to their peers and understand the feelings of children.
