Sosialisasi Dan Pembagian Benih Telang Kepada Kelompok Tani Perempuan Di Kelurahan Tubo Kecamatan Ternate Utara

Abstract. Butterfly Pie is a beneficial wild plant that is becoming extinct on Ternate Island. Efforts to promote telang re-planting are necessary due to its use and economic values. The socialization of butterfly pie aims to disseminate information on the introduction of its morphology, efficacy, and benefits. The target community group for this activity is women farmer groups in Tubo Village. The activity implementation methods include a lecture, discussion, distribution of seeds, and a sensory test. The success indicators of the activity employ pre-test and post-test using questionnaires. The activity results indicate a 100% improvement in the women’s knowledge of the morphology, efficacy, and processed products of butterfly pie. Moreover, the participants have tested the result of a trial of processed telang in the form of syrup. Seeds distributed to the women will be planted in their own homes as a conservation effort.Keywords: Socialization, Butterfly Pie, Seeds, Ternat
