Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste constitutes a major portion of total solid waste produced all across the globe, and most of this C&D waste is used in landfills. Research work in area of utilization of C&D waste indicates that after giving appropriate treatment, C&D waste can be utilized as a partial replacement of conventional aggregate in new concrete, especially in lower level applications.
