Ciente, então, de que a leitura é condição indispensável ao desenvolvimento social e à realização individual, o professor tece os fios que enredam o aluno ao livro, tornando-o leitor. Contudo, não se pode olvidar a influência do ambiente familiar, o convívio precoce com os livros como bem o comprovam inúmeros escritores. Não menos convincentes os depoimentos dos professores que, já no Ensino Superior e no exercício do magistério, sentiram-se fisgados pela leitura, sobretudo a literária, constituindo seus depoimentos o ponto alto deste artigo
