The objective of this study was to verify the effects of a jiu jitsu program on the motor performance and functional skills (self-care and social function) of children with ASD. The sample was composed by six children, being three of the control group and three of the experimental group, with ages between 6 and 12 years old submitted to Jiu Jitsu practice. The intervention had the duration of one year and three months (80 sessions) and were used the Test of Gross Motor Development-2, and Pediatric Evalution of Disability Inventory.
