International audienceA continuous version of multiresolution analysis is described, starting from usual continuous wavelet decompositions. Scale discretization leads to decompositions into functions of arbitrary bandwidth, satisfying QMF-like conditions. Finally, a nonlinear multiresolution scheme is described, providing multiplicative reconstruction formulas
