International audienceVesicles are drops immersed in an external viscous fluid and surrounded by an impermeable lipid membrane. Their dynamics is mainly governed by bending forces, the conservation of the membrane surface and the internal volume on the timescale of experiments. For a better understanding of the interaction of vesicles with solid structures, we have studied the behavior of a vesicle near rigid walls using the boundary element method (BEM), particularly suitable for Stokes flows.
