High-resolution genotyping of Aspergillus fumigatus isolates recovered from chronically colonised patients with cystic fibrosis

A series of 256 Aspergillus fumigatus isolates, recovered from eight patients with cystic fibrosis (CF), were genotyped using microsatellite-based typing. Only a limited number of genotypes were shared between patients and co-colonisation with multiple strains was indicated for all patients.
