This article attempts to trace the hadiths related to communication. This effort is considered important to see how the hadiths describe communication, especially aspects related to communication. This paper finds that the terms of communication in the hadiths are very broad, whether they speak directly or not about communication. The hadiths also provide general principles about communication, such as communication ethics, communication principles, and communication functions
