Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) is a commonly missed diagnosis among practitioners and even more difficult diagnosis to manage as much of the data with medications shows little to no improvement in mortality or morbidity for these patients. Because it is largely a clinical diagnosis and no specific test can confirm heart failure with preserved ejection, practitioners need to be aware of the signs and symptoms associated with HFpEF as well as how to manage these patients once the diagnosis is made
