The idea that literature can also be a knowledge experience for the reader is an already consolidated idea, however, it lacks a specific theory about this possibility. Therefore, this article aims to reflect on the epistemological potential of the literary phenomenon, its systematization into theoretical notes, as well as the reflection on the potential of these notes as a theoretical-literary basis for a possible literary theory of knowledge.
