Regulating a particular form of migration at the European level: the Council of Europe and intercountry adoptions (1950-1967)

It is a question of returning to the origins of "intercountry adoptions" and studying how this nascent transnational social phenomenon was seen from the beginning as a particular type of migration which necessitated regulation at the international level.
