According to Jacques Le Goff, the lived history is our historical reality as it really happened, but it is also a construction of knowledge derived from a historian’s own interpretation. This knowledge questions our present and the past to provide the answers. In order to answer this question we choose a paradigm, that is, a general frame of ideas that we have about reality.
